Established in 2013 and operating as a family owned and run business, Paynies Diesel Repairs is your one-stop-shop for all automotive repairs and inspections.
Workshop owners Nathan and wife Marlene, are proud to offer the customers of Moe and those who come from further afield a diverse and comprehensive range of services.
These services include, but are not limited to: brake inspections, clutches and transmissions, engine repairs, auto electrical and so much more.
Business owner Nathan has always been passionate about the automotive industry and for learning how things work, by taking them apart and putting them back together again. A passion that started early in his life when he was a young child who enjoyed tinkering at his parents’ home.
In 1999, Nathan joined Yallourn Tafe and was there for 6 months before starting an apprenticeship at Steve Four Wheel Drive Centre in Warragul. Working at the centre and absorbing a wealth of mechanical knowledge, he later moved on to Spencer Diesel & Hydraulics in 2002.
Completing his apprenticeship in 2003 and continuing through to 2005, Nathan then moved to the Australian Paper Mill. It was here that Nathan was tasked with working on fleet maintenance and continued to advance his skills until 2008.
Following this, Nathan worked at the CMV Volvo Dealership in Traralgon as the diesel technician and left the company in 2009.
Nathan then worked at the Yallourn Power station as a Mechanical Fitter and was there till 2010. After this he moved to SLD Hire and worked at the business till mid-2011, working in the role of Diesel Mechanic.
With a brief stint back at the Yallourn Power station, Nathan then decided to start his own business as a mobile mechanic. Nathan is backed by his wife Marlene who has been supporting him since the age of 16, as Paynies Diesel Repairs continues to provide customers with an A-Grade level of service.
